Peter Coad, originally part of the popular Coad Bros, is a full time professional entertainer with over 20 years experience working in the music industry. Originally from SA, he now resides at Bundanoon NSW.

As a recording artist and songwriter, Peter has been a finalist three times in the TSA Awards and TIARAs (1993 and 2000) with his original albums, and is also involved in bush poetry. In 1998, he was a finalist for Bush Verse in the Australian Bush Laureate Awards at Tamworth.

For the last 12 years, Peter has also worked with his sisters, the versatile multi-instrumentalists and vocalists Virgina and Lynette (The Coad Sisters), as Peter Coad & The Coad Sisters in a show featuring traditional country style music, ballads, originals, standards, yodelling, touching on contemporary music, irish and other influences with "live" instrumentation and a sense of humour thrown in. One of the few "live music" acts on the circuit.

Performance experience includes the Birdsville Races, Sydney Opera House, Adelaide and Melbourne Royal Shows, Brisbane World Expo '88, country music festivals throughout Australia, extensive television advertised concert tours through NSW, Victoria, WA and SA at clubs, pubs, rodeos and ag shows and touring isolated outback regions.

In 2003, they performed at the Tamworth Festival and will work full time on the club circuit touring SA, NSW and Qld. The show is quoted to be "The most versatile country music show in Australia."

Peter is a longtime member of the CMAA, President of the Australian Bush Balladeers Association (ABBA) and editor of a quarterly 30 page magazine "The Balladeers Bulletin" which is distributed to members, radio stations and country music clubs Australia wide. The Association has its own website, www.bushballadeers.com.au connecting Australian bush ballad artists and their music to the world.
