At the Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2002 Peter Pratt emerged with a 6 track CD that opened ears and minds immediately. His radio single “Wild Eyed Steer” went out in May last year and quickly caught the attention of programmers and listeners, becoming a top 10 hit on the National “Country Tracks Top 30” chart.

Having grown up on the land, Peter has worked in many areas of the rural sector - from the family’s sheep and grain farm at Illabo in Southern Central NSW to cattle stations in Western QLD and ranching in Northern Canada.

Peter has a vocal style reminiscent of the early Western crooners but with an unmistakable Australian quality.

His long awaited debut album Ever True is a 14 track offering that contains 6 brand new songs written by Peter including the top 10 hit Wild Eyed Steer. 12 new songs ranging from Western Balladry to Swing with a surprise or two along the way and all wrapped in a great package by producer Roger Corbett and an A-team of our finest musicians.
