Angela Easson is an accomplished performer dedicated to reaching her highest potential in the country music industry.

2010 has been a big year for the 2009 South Australian Senior Champion of Champions winner. In May, Angela was crowned the international winner of the Trans Tasman Entertain of the Year awarded in Norfolk Island. She was also the winner of the Rocky Page Memorial Scholarship to attend the CMAA Australian Academy of Country Music where she graduated July 2010.

The South Australian singer/songwriter furthered her success in November 2010, where she was awarded the 2010 APRA South Australian Country Music Modern Song winner and also took out the 2010 APRA South Australian Country Music Overall Song of The Year with her song Forget to Forget You.

Following up this success, Angela was the only South Australian to be selected as a 2011 Toyota Star Maker Finalist. This saw her travel to Tamworth in January 2011 to compete for the title.

Throughout the past eighteen years, Angela has worked with many local, national and international musicians, branching into different genres including pop, jazz and blues. An active member in the community, including the lead vocalist for the Onkaparinga Big Band, Angela’s passion lies in her songwriting and country music.

Angela is currently recording her debut EP, due out May 2011 and is certainly on the right track to becoming a highly accomplished singer/songwriter in the Australian country music industry.
