KEITH URBAN, winner of ‘Male Artist of the Year’ and ‘Sanity Top Selling Album of the Year’ at the 40th Country Music Awards of Australia, is in Australia to film the Nine Network’s locally Shine/TALPA production of ‘The Voice’. The trip which coincides with the news of his third consecutive US #1 song ‘You Gonna Fly’ from the ‘Get Closer’ album.
The week prior to arriving in Australia, he broke attendance records in San Antonio while performing as part of the 62 year old San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo event. On April 10, Urban will host, along with Vince Gill, his 3rd annual “All For The Hall” concert - a benefit for the Country Music Hall of Fame. This year’s show will feature Urban and Gill, Lady Antebellum, Alabama, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Band Perry, The Oak Ridge Boys, Rascal Flatts. The two previous events have raised nearly $1 million dollars.
Keith Urban is a four-time Grammy Award winner who has globally sold more than 15 million albums.
In 2011, he also released his first men’s fragrance called Phoenix.
