The Country Music Association of Australia is excited to announce the first line-up of artists who will take to the stage at the 40th Jayco Country Music Awards of Australia.
Top finalist nominees Adam Harvey, Shane Nicholson and Beccy Cole have all been confirmed as performers for the 40th anniversary event, which is anticipated to be an iconic night in Australian country music.
The talented trio who have a total of 21 finalist Golden Guitar nominations between them, will perform in front of what is expected to be a capacity crowd with fans and stars alike expected to flock to the event to be part of the 40th Golden Guitar celebrations.
With the first round of performers confirmed, CMAA Chair Joan Douglas, is looking forward to celebrating the huge milestone in 2012.
“It is such an exciting prospect to be celebrating four decades of recognition. It really is an achievement and we are thrilled to be able to celebrate and look back on the wonderful talent from the past 40 years,” said Joan.
“With additional performers and presenters to be announced make sure you are a part of the excitement by purchasing a ticket and securing your seat in country music history,” she added.
The 40th Jayco CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia will be staged on Saturday 28 January 2012 at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre (TRECC).
